This is a documentary from Youtube about hacking. This video can be seen as being an Expository video because the voiceover is addressing the reader directly, the voiceover can be stated as a ‘voice of God’ as you can hear but not see the person talking. Editing is also used in this video to support the argument of the video. In this video their are also ‘talking heads’ which have their names come up at the bottom of the screen and they say things which the audience are made to believe. Non diegetic sound is played in this video which means sound is playing that isnt actually their for real.

Pop Britannia is an Expository documentary because the voiceover is like a “voice of God” commentator thats heard but not seen an they usually have the full knowledge of whatever the topic is. In this video editing is also used to link the pictures together, and their is also non diagetic sound playing in the background.

Supersize Me is an Interactive documentary because the documentary maker interacts with other people in the documentary, the voiceover is the person thats actually in the documentary, and the documentary maker is visible for the audience to see who they are.

The Biggie and Tupac video is an Interactive documentary because the documentary maker and camera crew interact with the people being recorded (Biggie and Tupac). The voiceover in the documentary is also done by the documentary maker and the interviews are just formal “on the run” questioning.

The Family is an Observational documentary because their isnt any interviews in the video, their isnt any voiceovers, and the people pretend that they are not being filmed. For e.g the term “fly-on-the-wall” could be used to describe the camera as just being seen as un-noticed like a fly.

This is a video from Youtube about snakes. Archive footage isn’t shown in this video and their isn’t any soundtracks playing in the background. In the video a man is explaining whats going on and he is their while the video is playing, so the sound could be classed as diagetic because its not a commentary or recorded voice. Their are not any ‘talking head’ shots or captions with ‘experts’. In this video their aren’t any still images of photographs, but the video is shown in an edited version and just shows the key parts and cuts to another scene. Different camera angles are used in this video and the camera zooms in and out, it also pans around the screen slightly.

The Guardian is known as a Broadsheet newspaper, it has less colour than other newspapers which makes it look less interesting. The Guardians also got more text than other newspapers and it has suttle colours. The stories in The Guardian are more serious and can be considered as ‘hard news’.
